Default Tru-center Gauge on my Rival

I am facing a problem now.
For a long time i adjusted my bows with a GK Tru-Center Gauge.
Today i was facing a left-right problem and when i used the old method by lining up the string in the middle of the bow by eyesight, i saw my arrow rest was way off...
After i lined it up on eyesight, i found my arrows where still flying perfect and the groups i was shooting where very nice to!
What is wrong here?
Is the riser of my Mathews Rival Pro not strait?
Is a tru center gauge not working on single cams?
