RE: Turbo Nocks????
Rangeball,
If I am not mistaken, the 125 grain steelhead has a 1 1/4" cut. My experience is that it is a very lethal head. I don' t think you can go wrong with the Turbonock-Steelhead-Muzzy ZE rest combination provided that you paper tune as you would with any arrow and spin test the arrows for axial alignment. The only problem that I have encountered was when the turbonocks first hit the market. The inserts on the turbonocks, due to some problems with the finishing process, were too large in diameter (.002" oversized). They were putting hairline cracks in my CX shafts that I didn' t see until later. The cracks allowed the Turbos to wobble around in the shaft during the shot. This had quite a negative affect on accuracy. Nick fixed the problem with the DeadXs a while back. I do think, though, that the insert design on the Hunter model is much better than the DeadX. It uses smaller ribs and fits my shafts much better. I really like the Turbos, aside from the fact that they are somewhat heavy and necessite the use of heavier broadheads to maintain appropriate FOC values.
