Default how hard is it to switch a drenalin's draw lenth

my friend is selling his drenalin bow and i wanted to buy it but his draw lenth is 30" and mine is 26" what all is involed the change in draw lenth? is it a minor fix or a major one.

The cam has to be changed out. You must press your limbs in a bow press and relieve tension on thestring and cable. Remove them.Next takethe snap ring off on one side of the pin and removeit along with the cam. Install in the reverse order.

If you don't do this often it is a good idea to draw out the string and cable paths in relation to the idler wheel and cam before removing anything. Better yet if you have a digital camera use it.

It is not really a big deal but you do need a press.

Easy answer is you need a Mathews dealer and at least $80. One way or the other as sparky said you need a different cam.

And a 4" change may require new cabling and/or string and may effect the poundage significantly.

Strings and cables don't change but a new cam will cost you $80 unless you are buddies withthe shop guy and labor on top of that. In other words $100 plus tax.
