More important that the size is a consistant anchor point.

If you don't have issue in low light, small peeps will make you consistant. Some like the larger ones to line up with sight rings.

I use the 1/4" G5 for that very reason. Most sight rings fit perfectly inside a 1/4" size peep.

My VBG sight ring fits perfectly in a 3/16" peep for me. Im sticking a meta peep on my new strings when they come in, just need to get a 3/16. I got a 1/4 but it seems to big for me, i'll likely keep it as an emergency back up.

Lighter peep and no more string leeches should really amp up the fps, more importantly, it makes my arrows spine perfectly. Peep and Dloop equal about 16 grains on string total.

I think the 3/16" is a good compromise. Let's you see through good, but also small enough to help your accuracy. If I shot target I would go to a smaller peep, but for the all around hunting I do the 3/16" works very nice.

thanks for the info.....after shooting my new set up i found that the 1/8 works quite well with g5 sights. The peep centers inside the sight ring and i am grouping better than i ever have before.......I can actually split the x ring on purpose now!!! WoooHoooo!!!!!!!

The 1/4" has been my most popular seller.
