Default Whisker Bisquit Modifications

I saw a picture awhile back of a WB mod that I would like to try, it involved removing the whiskers where the fletching passes thru leaving only bristles to support where there is no fletching. Anyone familiar with this practice or have any pics, Revised: here's a pic

sounds like a good idea, it sounds like making a hostage rest for like 40 bucks less, if you do it let us know how it works, i might try it.

Haven't tried it myself, but I am going to, I think I will leave a little more bristles though.

Looks like it should work just like the hostage, I just wonderif the bristles will be strong enough to hold the arrow centered. Let us know how it works.

It works, kind of. If you do this, don't get too carried away with widening the slots, or the arrow will drop into the slots when you draw or bump the arrow or bow. I noticed no accuracy difference by doing this. I prefer to trim the back flat and leave no gaps for the arrow to fall into. JMPE.

With fletching like Blazers, Vanetec, etc, there is little advantage to doing this. IMHO
