You saw those too.I only have a guess but I'd say the sequence is wrong. Maybe it should be D/Q,R,S. It's alphebetical. Could be who they were manufactured for. Each company could claim they had the best price and defy anyone to beat them. I really don't know. Could be Quiet, Radical and Smooth.I think it's who they were made for. The make shafts for other brands.

I dont know. I have both the DR and the DS, bought at different times from the same shop, and both seem to shoot the same. Was just wondering. Saw some advertised for sale and they were DQ. ??? Maybe I'll buy them just to see if they're the same also.

They are supposedly manufactuer identifiers.I believethe carbon will vary from one order to the next so they use this to identfy the difference.

I figured if anyone would know it would be you. Thanks for clearing it up for me. I was assuming it was something like that since my shop sold them to me without mentioning any difference.

It's actually a code for batch weights for raw shafts. Each letter represents a certain weight tolerence that that batch will weigh in at. say a full length shaft will be 400.2 grn they will label those as dq while another batch may weigh in at 402.3 and they would label thos as ds.(this is all hypothetical) All it does is help you order another set of arrows within the same weight range.
Hope this helps

So in essance, it is to an arrow shaft what say a lot number is to a box of rifle cartridges?
