Default nock point

Am I wrong thinking that if I need to change my nock point thatI could get the same results by changing my rest?

Default RE: nock point

Nope your not wrong, especially if you have an easily adjustable rest. If you have to move it too far though you are usually better off starting with the nock and then fine tuning with the rest.

Sort of like mounting a scope on a rifle. You want it as close as possible before actually touching the adjustments on the scope.
