Default arrow rest

i bought this bow & setup from my g'ma's neighbor. i was told to shoot odd feather up with this rest but the arrows that came with the bow were all odd feather out (glue on). whatfletching style should i use? (i tried to post pix but idk if they showed or not. if not, pm me your Email address and i'll send them

What kind of rest is it? If its a whisker biscuit which looks like a disc with brown bristles around it with black on the botom then you should shoot it cock feather up. You should be able to rotate the knocks by twisting them. If you do have to refletch them I would go with either helical or offset for a more stable arrow flight. If the rest is a biscuit I'd go with offset because its really hard to get the vanes to pass through without contacting the dark bristles with a helical fletch.

i'll try to explain it. i have pix but don't know how to post them. it's got a set up like a prong rest, with the bar on the belly side of the riser. but in stead of prongs it's a plastic piece with a shallow V dip in it. (not deep enough for a vane to pass through)

Im not an expert, but I always shot cock feather out with this type of rest. Hopefully someone that is a little more seasoned will answer your post though
