Default hunting vs target arrows

I haven't shot my bow since mid November. I got it out yesterday for a 3D shoot last night. My hunting arrows were dead on at 20yds. After shooting for about 15 minutes, I decided to sling a couple target arrows that I picked up over the winter but have never shot.....Gold Tip 30X arrows.

They hit about 12-15 inches to the right??!?!?!? Why would that be?

I have never used any target arrows before.....I've always shot paper and 3D events with my hunting arrows so this is new ground for me.

Sounds like your target arrows have a much weaker spine. What is the rated spine for your hunting and target arrows?

My hunting arrows are the Maxima 350's. I don't know the spine on the 30X arrows. I believe all the 30X arrows are the same. I'll check goldtip.com for more info.

goldtip.com lists the spine of the 30X arrows as .150"

It would seem that the goldtips you purchased are the wrong spine for your setup.
