Default Bow speed??

Does anyone know what difference in velocity 10 pounds of draw weight willl add? If you had the same bow, same draw length, same arrows, but one was 60 lbs and the other was 70 what would be the average gain????? Thanks for any replies

Nic, That's an IBO speed which involves a different weight arrow. The 70# bow would be shooting a 350 grain arrow where the 60# model would shoot a 300 grain arrow. It will vary from bow type to bow type but I have found you gain 2 to 2.5 fps for every pound you go up in draw weight

On a bow I recently checked with a digital bow scale and a chronograph, it was 19 fps for ten lbs. of draw weight increase.

Roskoe, that would be 1.9 fps per pound. That's pretty close to what I have found also. Most will fallaround that 2 to 2.5 range
