Default Fletching location ??

Just got my Bitz.jig in the mail and can't wait to get home and practice on some old arrows. But first, what is the proper distance between the end of the fletching and the base of the nock (i.e., end of the shaft)? In case I didn't explain well enough, the figure I'm referring to is around 3/4" - 1". I know I could measure what the distance is on the old arrows but I don't know if it varies depending on vanes vs. blazers, etc. FYI, I'm going to refletch with 2" blazers if that makes a difference.

Default RE: Fletching location ??

It's a preference thing really. I fletch my Blazers with the nock end on the 4th line on the clamp. I'll measure it later if you need further instructions.

Did you get the straight clamp or helical?

On the straight clamp, I offset my Blazers. Move the top of the base right, the bottom left but make sure both ends of the Blazers touch the shaft.

I did get the straight clamp and I did offset slightly to the right like you said. The entire process was much simplerthan I thought it would be,can't wait to get into it more.
