Default Archery Research Bows

Just wondering if any of you got a chance to shoot 34" Archery research bow at the show a few weeks ago.

I was looking at the 34" model with an 8" brace height sounds like a good huntin bow. My local dealer said it was pretty smooth and quiet with nthing on the string. I think it is around $600 versus $660 for the Hoyt Razertec I am looking at.

Just looking for some opinions.

I shot the AR 34 at the ATA show, and thought it was very quiet with little shock, same as most other companies' offerings of roughly the same configuration. All in all it does handle well IMO. Good shooting, Pinwheel 12

Not only was it equal to all the other bows at the show where shooting is concerned, the quality and detail of the design was exceptional.

I can't wait to tear one apart when the first shipment arrives. It's a shame they won't let you do that at the show.

Anyone have a link for them? Do they even have a website yet? Also, a while back someone posted a pic of the bow out of an archery shop insider magazine, touting the profit margin possible with this bow. Any feel for what the msrp and going price for the bow will be?

Rangeball--

www.archeryresearch.com should get you there. Price will be around the $600 marker.

Len-

Absolutely! Why can't the dealers play with them at the show, rip 'em down, and see what makes 'em tick? I like that sort of thinking!

While I have your attention Rangeball, I have a Machete (along with some other Diamonds) coming in soon to run through the mill also. Figured you might like to hear about that too. Pinwheel 12

Definitely. Can we expect a report to be posted?

I thought I'd look at the AR bows for my brother-in-law, in case the price point was lower than most. Apparently it isn't, and at that price, he won't consider it. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to find him a good used '02...

At first they missed their debut date with the website, now it is a Flash 6 site, very user friendly.

Rangeball-

The Diamond bows aren't going to get here until around March 1, and I've got a bunch of them plus many other "new" bows to check out that are arriving during that same timeframe. I doubt that it will be a "complete" report, but I'll cover what needs to be covered. I'll let you know. Pinwheel 12
