I really think that you could not go wrong with the 82 or the 101. I have not shot them enough to tell if one is more forgiving than the other, but a friend has been shooting an 82 for a couple of weeks and has killed 2 deer. He says it's the best bow he has owned. Sounds to me like he likes it!

I have a 101 on order!

I got my 82nd just before christmas and really like it. Shooting a Maxima Hunter 350 weighing 372 it has a kenetic energy rating of 89.98 and shot 332fps. Only draw backs are the valley is a lot smaller and less forgiveing than the guardian I had and takes some getting used to and the bow was a little loud even with their new string suppressor. I put an STS on mine and it is now more quite than my guardian. Bow is 70# with 29inch draw. Overall I love it!!

You can always add a MeanV also. It makes dual String Suppressors

I haven't even shot mine yet... I just keep sitting here holding it admiring how beautiful it is!

That Invelvet finish is freakin' AWESOME, too.. and those have to be the best-looking cams I've ever seen on a bow. She's just SWEET!

Yes my guardian does have and STS on it. And I havent exactly put a meter or anything on it but it does sound as quite if not more quite than my guardian. Trust me was very supprised myself!
