RE: Tuning my Bow up?
Roskoe your right. I have had arrows that would shoot a bullet hole in paper even when I move the nock are rest around it didn't make much difference still shoots a bullet hole and I had some I could shoot a bullet hole, but took some work to get it to do so. I have alway had better luck with the arrows working best on the light side of the charts. I was on Easton shooting staff once and we talked about this and they told me they alway show arrows on the heaver side for a reason. Most people can shoot a heaver arrow better than a lighter one and they don't want people sending arrow back because they can't shoot them. The ones that know me said I had great good form, hand pressure, and release back pressure thats way this works better for me to set up and thats way I 'm shooting the scores that I do because I was shooting like a machine. On my post you will see me shoot on the lighter side off the charts and thats because they set up better for me and I shoot tighter groups at close and long targets. It may not work that way for others. I have had people in the shop and tried to help them tune there bow. They could not shoot a bullet hole in paper for any thing in the world and I grab there bow stand in front of the paper and shoot a bullet hole. They wonder what the #$@^ they have been trying for hours to do that. I tell them its all about hand pressure, your release and your pivot point on the rest. The drop away has made it so theres no pivot point any more, no setting the spring pressure right and the loop has helped the release.
