Default fletching contact w/ blazers & dropaway

well i am getting some contact on my fletchings on something, i am shotting blazer vanes w/ cockfeather up and the other two at an angle down. i am shooting the trophy taker extreme dropaway. i am going to go get some athletes foot spray and spray on the vanes and try to figure out where it is hitting and fix it. this is frustrating to pay 100$ for a dropaway rest and not not get full fletching clearance. any ideas!!!!

I don't care for high profile vanes for that reason.

The cord that attaches to the cable might be a little too tight. Try lengthening it just a little at a time until the clearance issue goes away. Lengthening the cord causes the rest to come up later and therefore drop sooner. Hope this helps and good luck getting it solved.

I agree. This should cure your problem. I know many that shoot blazers with the same rest, and they don't have a problem.

You may also have the rest mounted too far back. You might try sliding it all the way forward, especially if you've got a short brace height bow.

You might flip the arrow over and shoot it with the cock feather down.

I shoot an Ultra rest and blazers. I never had a problem with mine so you should be able to get it right. Good luck with fixing the contact.

I had the same problem with my TT Shakey. I had Blazer contact. It was the rest comming up too fast. I had to lengthen the cord out a little (and it did not take much).

Yeah, lenghtening the cord should solve that problem!
