Default Wraps Vs. Dipping

What would be the difference in weight between a dippend and hand crested arrow vs. the wraps? Anybody have any idea?

Probably not enough to worry about but I'm taking a WAG that the dips are going to be twice as much (5-7 grains) over the wraps.

Most wraps add between 5 - 12 grains to total arrow weight. Dipping adds between 15 - 30 grains, depending on the type and number of coats.

Both are pretty much the same wraps are just easier and faster. Dipping/cresting what ever you wanna call it allows you to put a little more personal tough on your arrows.

wraps are faster and easier and if you want to add that personal touch, chuck your arrow in a drill and use a sharpie marker to do the cresting.

I have done tons of both. Even though dipping is heavier it's not a huge issue, but weighing all advantages against disadvantages.

Wraps are the way to go for several reasons!
