Default adjusting bow to specs

Hi all, i was checking the specs on my bow, reflex ridgeline 34 and the brace height is suppose to be 7 1/4, with the bow maxed out the brace height is 6 7/8 and the axle to axle should be 34 and thats at 33 3/4, i'am not really concerned with the axle to axle but i would like to get my brace height adjusted to specs because the string is starting to slap my arm. do i adjust the brace by twisting the cables or the string, i know i will have to adjust both to get the cams back in time, but which controls brace height. thanks for any responses, you guys and girls have always been helpful.

Those specs are also most likelyfor a 30" draw at 70#.They use a standard configuration when giving those specs.

You will not be able to get both those numbers because the a-a is already too short and you will have to do some twisting to get the brace higher.

I'd let the a-to-arun shortand get your brace height up. You'll have to twist both string and cables to do it and keep your draw length the same and the cam rotation right.

The only problem with that is that it might be right as is.

Make sure to check with Hoyt/Reflex first.

The tune charts don't show your bow.

If you are getting arm slap I would recommend an STS. They make a front mount version for your bow and it will make it a nicer shooter as well.
