Default 2002 Bowtech Blackknight VS. 2003 model

Does anyone know how the 2002 Black knight shoots as compared to the 2003 model. Bowtech claims they have changed the cam, however it looks like the 2003 black knight dually cam appears the same as the 2002 model and looks different from all the other new 2003 dually models. If anyone has info or has shot both and has an opinion I would appreciate hearing from you
Thank you

I have a 2002, but haven't shot the 2003 yet. The most glaring difference that I can see is the extra 1" of brace height without sacrificing any speed.

Per my converation with someone at bowtech, the 2003 has a smoother draw force curve and is designed to get more work out of the limbs to keep the speed. Since I jsut sold 2 bows on ebay, I might be able to give you some first hand info soon.

I have a 2003 DC Pat and BK Pro. The cam is the same and the draw cycle the same. Mine has 6 15/16" brace height and runs about 8 fps faster than my DC Pat. The DC Pat has an extra 1/2" of draw length. I have been shooting the BK at around 58# and getting more speed than my single cam '02 Pat had at 71#. Is is as accurate as my '02 Patriot, which was my most accurate hunting bow to date.

This is a heck of a bow. The only reason I can figure as to why it is not getting as much good press, is because people were scared off of the older short brace height BKs.
