The same way I do mine probably, on my Marquis the label itself says the cable is 35 3/16" and the string is 90 7/16".

How are you supposed to measure the string and cables?

RE: Marquis Question.
Yep, Rob's right... just read it off my label real quick for you.
Some stringmakers will tell you to lay them out and measure them from loop to loop, but I've seen several of them ask for the measurements off the label like I just gave to you.

RE: Marquis Question.
Greg's right, you best to get them off the label per the manufacturer. Measuring them could very well give you a false measurement via string creep. (elongation).

RE: Marquis Question.
The label on my Marquis has the same measurements as Greg's. I always use the measurements on the label. Another hint, when you first get the bow write all the info on the label down and keep it in a safe place. Then when if it gets wore or faded to where you can't read it you will have the info you need at your fingertips

RE: Marquis Question.
Ok. Thanks. One more question. If i order a 60 -70 and put a shroter string to drop it to 55 - 65 will that affect the performance of the bow?
