I have a question about my cables on my new bow. When I was waxing them the other day, I felt the cable twisting in my fingers. Now, that's not a sensation I've ever got when waxing strings, so I noticed it right away. Upon examination, the 2 bundles aren't flush w/ each other, but only for about an 8 inch section of one cable. It's almost like that section of cable doesn't have as much twist asthe rest.....
Does that make any sense? And if you are able to understand that, I wonder why that is? I also wonder, if I press the bow and try to smooth them out with my fingers???

Take a regular piece of string and make a loop around the string , lightly pull on the string and then pull the string up and down on the string and see if the bundles even out. Do it with it on the bow as this will keep the tension on the string.
Maybe I'm not interpreting you right, but if the string is flat in that area you could still do what archer2 says. Use some dental floss and pull it down the string to clean out any extra wax. Quite possible there's just too much wax on that area.

No, I'm not wording it very well. It's not excess wax buildup. There are 2 bundles of strings twisted together, ivory and green. The green bundle is taller than the ivory bundle, but only in this 8 inch section. Everywhere else the 2 bundles are flush w/ each other. It's like the green bundle is a ridge.

sometimes it just happens, but usually its whenyou haveto get into a section to seperate the colors, and you don't know how not to make it happen.
