Default sighting in

Did I read this somewhere?
Is it possible to sight in your first pin for 20m at 2m ?

I think it was something to do with French Tuning - where you use your 50 yard pin to sight in for five yards - something along those lines.

well, logically your arrow makes an arch so the beginning and end of that arch is basically the same point on the straight line.....
I did just that, I sighted in at 2m, tuesday I'm at the range.....
I'll let you know...........

This is a closer approximation. Can't say for the difference between 2m n]and 20m, but years ago I used to shoot a night coon shoot. With a 36" stabilizeralmost against the target I had to set the sight on 60 yards to hit where I should.

Best way to find out is to do it and find out for yourself.

With my slow bow (200 fps), my 20 yard pin is on at 8 yards, then high, then back on at 20 yards.

Coincidentally, it was 8 yards through our kitchen to the back of our closet in our student apartment (my practice shooting lane). And, the little buck that fed around my ground blind turned unexpectedly and stopped, broadside, 8 yards away.
