Tru-fire hurricane release????

Anybody using a Tru-fire hurricane release for hunting? Many options on strap style, length, fold back, etc. Adjustable length and trigger.

Is there a better choice in the $50-60 range. What about a Scott?

i shoot one...i have no compaints...works fine for me...pretty adjustable...like it a heck of alot better than some ive seen that the jaws dont open and close with the trigger..you know, the ones that dont have a spring and CLICK closed...

I love mine. My dad shoots one with the strap and I have one with the buckle thing. i love it. One thing though, it isn't the easiest on loops or the string. i was drawing once with a frayed loop and the (the outside was pretty much split) and the inside slipped through the jaws.

I had one for a trial period two years ago. I like the adjustability for length, but I thought it had a lousy trigger. Too much travel and I could feel the rough spots, like it was stamped metal. I gave it to someone who had a lot less money than I and kept shooting my Cascade M-8.
