Default simms cable slide

Just to tinker with my bow, I am considering a simms teflon cable slide. Wal-mart has them for 5.50 right now marked down. I was wondering what you all thought about them, if they worked, and if they were worth the cash? Any opinions?

They are absolutely worth the money, and at that price I'd buy a few just to have some extras. You never know when you might get a new bow and need one. They're great.

I bought one for the same price. They had limb savers too for $7.00.

I'm glad I saw this topic. I went to the wallmart by me and saw the sims split limb savers. Got them for 8 bucks. I wasn't sure on the cable slides, but now I'll get 1. They're only 5 bucks.

No bow press is needed for installation.
