Default Bow tuning advice needed.

Does your nocked arrow have to be 90 degrees with you string??

Normally the nock point is set between 1/8" and 1/4" high.

You certainly don't want the arrow to be below square.

i always here people say 1/4 high but dose that meen nock= 1/4 high or point 1/4 high

They mean putting the nockset so that the bottom of the arrow's nock is 1/8" - 1/4" above square. That assumes the bow's tiller is correct. I've seen quite a few bows where they paper tune and the nock winds up below square. When that happens, or when the nockset has to be way too high to get good flight, the tiller needs adjustment.
