Default best way to clean old vanes

What is the best and simplest way to clean up arrows before adding new fletchings. I am sure this has been brought up before, but I couldn't find anything.

Default RE: best way to clean old vanes

I usually wipe/scrubb them down good with paint thinner, then under hot water with some comet or soft scrubb. Dry them off and start fletching.
