Default are Muzzy practice blades inaccurate?

I just bought some Muzzy 3 blade broadheads. You know, the kind that come in a 6pack and includes a set of practice blades? Anyway, the practice blades do not hit where my field points hit. They hit 4 inches low and 2 inches right. Before you diagnose this as an improperly tuned bow, let me give you some info on the bow.

It's a Vectrix that was tuned by the shop I bought it newfrom. Previous to the Muzzy's I shot G5 Montec's. The Montec practice blades always flew like my field points. This to me says that the bow is properly tuned.

So howcome now all of a sudden the Muzzy practice blades are doing what the Montec practice blades didn't? Nothing was changed on the bow or done to it. It wasn't dropped or bumped or anything.

One thing I should point out is that the Muzzy practice blades look nothing like the actual hunting blades. Those who shoot Muzzy should know what I'm talking about. Could this alone be the problem?

I personally just use the muzzy hunting blades to sight my bow in but I don't hunt with the blades I practice with. I have 2 sets of broadheads, one for hunting and one for practive. never have used the practice blades.

I have never had a problem with the POI of the practice blades, hunting blades and field points with the muzzies.

I use the Muzzypractice blades all the time, and theyfly exactly like my hunting blades. I use the 3 blade 100gr. I don't hunt with field points, so I don't shoot them.

Alright, this calls for a systematic process of elimination then.

First I will check to see if I have any bent or unevenly manufactured blades on the practice head. If not, I'll re-confirm that my Montec hunting and practice blades still have the same poi. If so then it has to be in the Muzzy practice head.

I agree 100 %... I just wish they made practice blades for 220 grain muzzy phantoms. I use a 200 grian field tip to practice, they fly the same as the blades.

I don"™t know if you checked to see if your broadheads are straight on your arrows or not? I always spin test broad heads on my arrows to make sure they are good. If they are wobbly they will not fly right even out of a well tuned bow. This will cause bad grouping of broad heads. Just some thing else to think about.

X 2. That being said, my muzzy blades (practice or hunting)also fly slightly different then my field points. However, since the hunting blades and practice blades hit where I am aiming, I never shoot a field point. Surprisingly, using muzzy practice blades has actually increased my Rhinehart target life compared to field points.

I see your point, I do. However, if that were the case it would probably cause aninconsistent poi. But, it always hits low and right. I don't get it, but I think I'll quit trying to figure out why. It seems pretty obvious that there is something funky in that practice BH because the Montec's still hit right and so do the actual Muzzy hunting BH's. Well, I just used one as a target BH and shot that same one over and over so I don't dull all 6 of the BH's.
