Default 4 inch versus 5 inch vanes

I just bought some arrows from a pro shop that have 4 inch vanes. I usually custom fletch my own, and put 5 inch vanes on them. Am I going to notice much of a difference? I have never shot anything but 5 inch vanes on my arrows. I shot a P.S.E set at 67 pounds with 30.25 inch Easton XX78 and XX75 arrows and 100 grain N.A.P Shockwave and field points. Thanks.

Default RE: 4 inch versus 5 inch vanes

You might notice a difference if you shoot fixed blade broadheads.. I had this problem when I shot four inch vanes but, now I shot 5 inch because I had the broadhead take control of arrow flight when I used four inch vanes w/fixed blades.. Try them out and see!!!
