Default New Mathews Limbs/weight?

If I want to install Mathews limbs of a higher or lower weight, do I have to trade out the string and cam at the same time? Seems like one shouldn't have to, but then I probably would have already done it if it was that simple.

It's not necessary to change the cam, idler, string or cable unless you want something different or need new strings or cables. Just pop the old harness with the cam and idler out and install them in the new limbs.
