Got my sons bow somewhat set up last night and have his pins set for 10,15 and 20 yards. Only thing wrong is they are all set at the bottom of the sight gaurd and the sight is set as low as possible. There is not alot of room for the arrow to pass the under the sight.
Do I have to move the peep up along with the sight, sounds kindof dumb but my mind is blank. He says it seems fine with the height it set at now but watching him shoot I think I could move it up a little.
I also had a tear in the paper and could not find the chart, but here is what happened. The tip entered about 7 o'clock with the fletching about 1 with an inch tear. I just can't remember what needs to be done to be able to lift the sight up, and fix the tear. Thanks or the help.
RE: Help!! could use a little more clearance on sight
Get your son to draw the bow and come to anchor with his eyes closed
when he opens his eyes he should be looking through the center of the peep.
If he has to lower his head then move the peep up and if he has to raise his head move the peep down.
Which way is the tear in the paper up down left right?
