Default pulling bow from tree stand

I found the hard way that I can not pull my bow back while aiming down. (nice 6 point) Not straight down but a strong angle down. Is this just me or do you folks also have this problem. Should one first pull the bow straight back from body and then aim down or what?

Default RE: pulling bow from tree stand

I recomend practicing from tree stands for these situations. I pull back then aim down...

Don't pull while aiming down, pull aiming straight out and then bend at the waist,BUT,if you are having trouble pulling like that, you most likely have too much poundage or are too long on draw,or both.

As stated above , you are probably overbowed , if you cant pull and aim , and letdown comfortably while seated , you are overbowed , get you bow adjusted , or get one that fits you , youll be happier , and eat better .
