Default Building an Arrow Saw

I thought I saw a post on here some time last year about building an arrow saw.....it was a length of wood, some angle aluminum, a yard stick, and a high speed cutter....but I can't seem to find anything, anyone do one? I'm just looking for a recommendation for the cutter, the source for it, and the RPM required for carbon arrows....I seem to remember a cutter from Harbour Freight being used.

Default RE: Building an Arrow Saw

I use the Harbor Freight saw. Here is a link to it.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=42307

You will also need this arrow squaring tool.

I just use the saw which holds the arrow in place. then i use the squaring tool to clean up the end. Good luck.
