There have been a few threads regarding this bow, and the new 101st Airborne in the bowhunting forum. In fact, the General page is 9 pages long now I think.

Russ.

I shot the General this morning along with the Marquis.

The General is one sweet shooting bow no hand shock, no vib, no kick noand deadly quiet and that was bare bow with just a rest put on it.

Does the higher brace help stabilize the short a-a any.

I have never been a fan of short bows.Just wondering how the center pivot along with a forgiving brace helped the stability on a short bow.

The video looked as though the bow settled rather quickly,I have a bad double set as many have seen and this is a must for me.

Tman the bow does settle rather quickly.

The bow still can be torqued but you have to make an effort to get it to torque, I would say that it is not as stable as my Commander in full target set up but that would be comparing apples to banana's because I shot it bare bow except for a Hostage rest

Thanks,it looks like they still have the very rounded grip on them.

I wish more people understood that just because this feels very nice,it isn't the most stable shooting platform.

I also went to my bow shop and shot both the General and the Marquis. Very nice bows!! I just bougth my Guardian about two months ago. Wish I would have waited. I am wondering what the pull on the Airbornes are going to be like??? If the draw is like my buddys X Force, they wouldn't be the bows for me.

Will the release of the general drop the retail value of the guardian?
