I knew someone would disagree. Everyones entitled to their own opinion but ive had the same set of 2 dozen Gold Tips since the year 2000. Im not gentle with them so i refletch them often. They have been soaked in acetone alot and never a problem. This method is so simple, no scraping and no sandpaper. Like i said, been doing it for years. Ive never been one to use archery specific glues or strippers. They are usually regular products with an archery name on them for twice the price. Acetone to strip fletch and super glue to put them back on. I use two part epoxy from the hardware store to glue inserts in carbon arrows.
