Default Arrow length ? OOPS

Well I shoot 27 1/2" arrows including the knock and insert. Well I went to get another 6 arrows from the proshop and when I get home I measure them and they are 28". I not sure if the measured them without the knock or the just messed up. My ? is will them fly approx. the same as my other arrows. They did glue the inserts in and I have not had the chance to fletch them yet. Just wanted to see if they would fly the same before I fletch them, and is there any way I could still have th cut down to the correct length... Thanks Guy's

I added 3/4 inch this yr to my arrows really made no change in point of impact that I could see, translationi didn't have to move my sight at all

get a small candle.......put a field point in the insert just a few threads....heat the arrow while rotating ....pull the insert out........cut the arrow w/ a hand held grinder w/ a cut off wheel blade i use a 4" one...heat up the insert and hot melt glue ..install insert...let cool and peel off excess glue.....i always cut my own arrows that way...never had a problem

What kind of arrows? If they are carbon then you can just cut what you need to from the nock end. Pure and simple. Then you can fletch them just like usual.

If they are aluminum then hopefully the inserts were put in with hot-melt glue. Just heat the end of the arrow and pull the inserts. Cut whatever you want off and reinstall the inserts.
