Default Ruined arrow taking fletching off

just a reminder to not get in a hurry. What an idiot I was yesterday before work. Decided to refletch a few A/C Superslims and couldn't find the dull knife I use expressly for this purpose, so I grabbed one of my sharp Gerbers..........dumb!!! Almost had it scraped and ready to lightly scrub before cleaning. One more scrape should do it I thought to myself. What'd I do? Cut a nice little sliver of carbon!!! Trashed it.......what a moron!

Reminder, be careful and do not use a sharp knife to remove old fletching and glue.[:@]

Good advice. I use a razor knife when removing vanes and it took two ruined shafts to realize the advice you give. Take your time adn be careful.
