Default Vane size

I want to know what the difference (technically) between 2" &4" vanes. My daughter shoots carbon arrows with the 4" vanes & I was wondering if the 2" would increase her speed or rotation. She shoots a Micro Midas III w/ 43 lbs. of draw.
I'm open to suggestions...
Thanks,
Carl

Will she be hunting with those arrows? If so, smaller vanes are out of the question. Of course, the big exception to that rule are blazer vanes.

Yes, these are the arrows that she will be hunting with & I was looking at the Blazer Vanes. She also uses a Whisker Biscuit rest.

Blazers are practically made for the whisker biscuit. You might have to go to 4 blazers to stabilize a traditional styled COC head like a Magnus Stinger, but any smaller 3-bladed head like a Wasp Boss 3 blazers are sufficient.

I shoot the 4" quickspins but am going to switch to the 2"ers you will pick up a little speed butthey will be a little on the small size for large broadheads. What heads is she shooting? You may want to try therazorcaps by NAP they fly great and will penetrate like crazy!
