sight adjustment

When sighting in a bow, and making sight adjustments, do you move the sight in the direction that you need to shoot. Like if you are shooting to far left you move the sight to the right, and when shooting to low you move the sight up. Is this correct???? Thanks

Move your pin in the direction of impact. If you are hitting right of spot, move your sight pin to the right. Hitting high, move the pin up.
