Default Anyone broadhead tune and still have to move sights?

Does anyone here that broadhead tunes their bow still have to move the sight in order for the arrow to hit it's mark?

Theoretically, I wouldn't think you would have to but I'm not sure.

My bow is good to go though. I shot at 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards with a BH tipped arrow and it hits where my FP's do. What a great feeling!!!

I finally whipped the MZE into shape. Just waiting on Oct. 6th.

Default RE: Anyone broadhead tune and still have to move sights?

I always get the broadhead tuned and if need be adjust my sights. I was shooting earlier today and had pretty good flight with my broadhead but still just a tad of tall wag and was hitting to the right. I adjusted my rest out just maybe a 1/16 of and inch at most andbroadheads are flying like darts and hitting the same place my field tips are.

Default RE: Anyone broadhead tune and still have to move sights?

i think i still have a little work to do on my tune this year.

i got a bit behind. got my string a month ago or so...started BH tuning the day i got it...but got side tracted and got into the local 3d shooting and shooting 50+ at my buddies field and never got around to finishing the BH tune...it was close, but not perfect.

today, knowing i have less than 2 weeks till hunt time, i finally got back into gear. but i got lazy. i shot a couple BH shots, then make a small adjustment. never shot a FP arrow...i trust my shooting to know if im consistantly hitting high with broadheads i gotta move my nock up a hair.

before i wrapped things up i shot a couple FPs and they were hitting slightly higher than normal...but my bhs are still shootin a bit off to i believe...didnt wanna make more adjustments as i was getting tired and reading shots was getting tough so i quit...im REALLY close though...just wasnt enough time in the day

last time i didnt have to move my sights at all...shouldnt really..unless you have poorly spined arrows maybe...
