Default fletch contact on cables

I have a Guardian and just switched to the whammy rest and blazer vanes. I tried shooting cock feather down and it hits the center of the rest and with cock feather up the right vane is hitting the cables. any one have any ideas to fix the issue without changing rest.

I am not familiar with that set up, but perhaps you could cross the cables above the bar instead of under?

I'm not familiar with that rest, but on my EX VFT I have a clearance issue unless I shoot cock vane out. I'm shooting with a DZ rest. If the cock vane is pointing straight out to the left (right handed bow) I have no more clearance issues.

I had to replace the original cable slide on both my Guardian and the Commander because of fletching contact with the cables. Do that and
it will solve your problem. Any good slide that holds the cables very close
to the cable guard rod will work. I'm using a Saunders Hyper-Glide right
now. I shoot with the cock fletching up. No contact at all.

The higher profile vanes of the Blazers made contact with my cables on my Allegiance, simple fix was, I turned my cock feather up, slightly in toward the riser. Not only did it clear the cable then, it wasn't an issue with my drop away rest.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to go with a new rest.

Have a good look at the Hostage rest or the BoDoodle series.
