Browning still does their own R and D but utilizes PSE's manufacturing facilities to put together their bows.

for the most part you can say they are a PSE with browning engineering...or sort of something like that!

Browning still has their own R&D and engineers, they just send the specs to PSE plant for manufacturing. I don't know of any financial ties other than that. It's better that way as Browning has some good stuff, but if they had to manufacture it themselves the price would go through the roof.
It's not that uncommon in the hunting industry...Remingtiton stands are made by Bear River, RedHead(bass pro brand) is made by a gazillion companies.
How you liken' that new bow anyway Taz?? You break her in with blood yet??

First of all thanks for the answers.

Trushot_archer no I haven't drawn blood with it yet, my heart went out of hunting for a while when I found out my son, a marine is shipping out to Kuwait City this Saturday, it just seemed to be more important to spend time with the family since getting the news.

I understand completely Taz.

Godspeed to him and his crew over there. It's sad that it has come to this with that situation over there. I'm proud to say I have great trust in my, my family's, and my country's safety because of the men (and women)like your son who do what they do. Thank him for me will ya...

"Were always looking for ways to move ahead," says Shepley. "Recently, we did that in a big way with the purchase of Browning archery." quote from Inside Archery magazine
