Changing cams on Mathews?

I'm changing the cam on my Q2 from a 28 to a 26.5.Do I,or do I not have to change the string and cable lengths.I will be getting new strings and cables anyway so I need to know before I order.Do I stay factory lengths or not?Thanks.Brody

Cowbow I am pretty sure you will use the same string and cable

The Mathews tech finally got back to me and he said that from 23 all the way up to 29 uses the same string and cable.On the Q2 anyway.

Cowboy your string and cables will be the same up to 29 inch cam. Jjust looked it up in my owners manual,did'nt you get one? String is 90 1/4 and your cable is 36 1/2.Hope this helps MATHEWS BRO!
