Default Arrow Prep

What is the best way to prep a carbon arrow for dipping and cresting. I use acetone for my XX78's, but I am switching to Goldtip XT's. I heard the acetone can brake down the carbon glue, is that true?

Default RE: Arrow Prep

Bohning also makes a solution that you soak the carbon arrows ends in for 3-5 minutes and works great for prepping the shafts for paint. It's called "Prep-Rite II". Good stuff.
