Default Add-On Arrow weight from Gold Tip

http://www.goldtip.com/products/prod...;rnd=208640957
Would this be the answer to me wanting to try the rage 2 blades this year? I didn't read my old post close enough until today and realized that there was actually a product like this out there. Does that just screw in, between the tip and the insert? Anybody have any good, or bad experiences with this?

What the hell am I doin wrong with my OnTarget2? at first it showed that with 100gr I would be stiff spined, now it falls dead on in the middle

Could somebody else run it and tell me what they get?

06 Switchback XT with a 29" Draw and 70lb draw weight. (When I get my bow restrung I am going to have everything measured exactly)
Gold Tip XT Hunter 7595 with Blazer Vanes, and Wrap. cut at 28.5"

The only thing is my F.O.C with 100, it is below 10% with 125 it is right over 11%...would be bettere off with 125s right? I am still so new to this, I get kinda confused. Hopefully you guys have patience for my dumb questions. I really want to learn all the fine tuning stuff that is involved with archery.
1 nock on the string with no silencers and a peep

The insert weight screws on from the back of the insert (inside the shaft). There is a tool that allows you to easily add them to your finished arrow. While bareshafting, you can add them in 10 gr or 50 gr increments. You do that until you have your dynamic spine correct for your setup and then you add them to the rest of your dozen. This will allow you to use whatever broadhead you want. It's a very good system for tuning an arrow, that for some reason many other manufacturers haven chosen to ignore.

Get the tool if you use those weights. I didn't get it and what a pain that was! Wound up using a straightened clothes hanger with the end filed into a screwdriver tip, and venting my frustration with all the 'colorful language' at my disposal.[:@]

When you bare shaft test and get it right, then when you put on your vanes or wrap, would that not change your dynamiv spine for the stiffer?

Be careful on what you're looking at. The link above shows the weights for the 22 series shafts. Gold Tip's website shows some others in different weights, but does not show which arrows they fit. Make sure before you buy.

I was just posting up a link to what product I was talking about. I didn't really shop around or anything, was just a little excited.

Buck Slayer there is also a company called PDP that makes those weights too, but you have to buy an adapter to fit them into the back of the inserts. I use them in my arrows to get my FOC up. You can buy them from Lancaster Archery or 3 Rivers Archery also sells them. Its a great way to mess around with adding arrow weight.

I just want the 25 grain so I can get away with using the rage 2 blades...my setup is damn near perfect with 125 grains up front.
