Default Serving on string starting to unwind...geesh

I was out shooting my guardian today and noticed the serving which protects the string as it rounds the mod is starting to unwind. I have the bow shooting perfect even out to 70 and do not wish to have to replace the string and start over. Is there a fix or at least something that can be done to keep it okay through the season?

Thanks.

Kelly

The only thing I can suggest, is try and un wind it a bit and re tie it. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, seek out a pro shop, and they can do it for ya. Your string should be fine.

i say you take it back to your dealer he can get you new string and cable cause it's under warrenty don't mess with anything else....you have time to get dialed in again.......

Strings and cables are not a warranty item . If your dealer replaces them for free it is because he is doing it out of his own pocket for good customer relations . If it isnt too far unwound he would be able to untwist it back aways and retie it and it should be fine.

Kelly,

Take a look at my post on the first page of these tech questions and answers. Titled "Serving separation on Guardian & Commander bows",
and check my pictures to see if you are having the same problem.
