Default Fall Arrest ? Which One?

Which fall arrest product do you guys like the best? What features do you like or dis-like with the model you use? Thanks - I'm thinking about buying one. Bob

I am a big fan of the Golden Premier Fall Away and like it for 3-D & target shooting. I have also shot the mirage & it worked very good. I think the new Power Drop will be a really cool rest. I have seen the prtotype when the sales rep was showing it. It is really cool!

Bob,

You couldn't give me a fall-away for free. But if you must have one, convert a GKF Premier series rest to a fall-away.

I have tried two differnt ones, the Zero effect and Trap door. I have also looked at several others on the market. I feel for the hunter the Zero effect has the most going for it. it is very reliable and consistant. You arrow can't fall off the rest and as long as your cable slide moves it's going to work. The trap door so far seems to be a good rest, but I don't know if I would feel comfortable using it for hunting. My brother on the other hand loves his trap door rest and thinks it's the greatest.

Trophy Taker!!!!!! I set them up and leave them alone. bullet proof and works like a charm for 3D or hunting. I can shoot just as good with broadheads from my hunting bow as I can with my competion setup. Trophy Taker are simple to setup and east to tune. One of the best features is 2 large screws is all that you use to adjust it. no tiny set screws to strip out or break....Try it, You will love it!!!! Bowjunkie

I also have to give credit to my Golden Key Premier Fall Away. I use it for 3-d and hunting. it works well because it locks in the up position when you draw the arrow back. It doesn't rise up like many others do. Then at full draw it unlocks and falls away for the shot. the adjustability of the rest also sells me.

Trophy Taker or Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter. They are simple, light weight, quiet, reliable and proven! I love my Shakey Hunter on my hunting bow, I wouldn't trade it for anything else!

Good Luck!

For now I love my GKF Mirage. I love the way the patented Super Scoop rest arm grabs, lifts, and centers my arrow perfectly everytime, you're arrow can not fall of the rest. All this is done absolutely silently which makes it a top bowhunting rest for sure!!! As much as love my Mirage, I will admit that I can't wait to get my hands on this new GKF Power Drop also. I've got to know if this rest is going to half as awesome as it looks.
