Default NEW Compound hunter Help!!




I am a new compound bow hunter. i have hunted for many years but have used a crossbow. i just purchased a pse 33 fireflite 70 lb. 31 inch draw what is the length of the arrow i need?

It depends on the rest that you use. Many of the new rests allow you to go shorter than your DL. However, it's a preference if you want the broadhead out past the riser or don't mind it being over the riser.

The best thing to do is decide on a broadhead weight that you want to use and rest and then people can start giving you ideas.

With my QAD Ultra Hunter I am currently using a 27" arrow with my 30" DL if that helps give you an indication of how short you can go if you'd like.

[/align]ok i will be using 100 grain points and it is just a pse arrow rest the one with the prongs. i would like to shoot carbon arrows as i already have 4 from cabelas they r 300 spline i think ( if that means nething :S)

Try 31 inch arrows. My draw is 30 and my arrows are 28.
