Default what' a good broadhead ?

sorry for all the questions. i really have no one else to ask...

what is a good broadhead to use on deer/black bear? i am looking for a good 100gr. broadhead. i see alot come where you have to put the razor edges on. can you get some that are not in pieces?

Everyone has their favorites, but my choice is a Muzzy 3-blade, too.

If you want a head that WILL work for you right from the start. I agree that Muzzy is the way to go. It is a take apart type head though.

If you are sold on a blade that is fixed (not in pieces) then take a look at the Magnus heads. IMO, I would prefer the 125 grain magnus without the vents. I believe that 100 grain Magnus will only come vented.

I have a basic guidline. For most bowhunters a quality replaceable fixed blade head is perfect. Muzzys, thunderheads, golden key deadheads, are but a few excellent head. It can get really confusing, but the truth be known, there are alot more good heads than bad ones.

thanks guys for all your much needed info. anyone ever use the steelforce broadheads? i know they have titanium broadheads.

as for shooting broadheads into targets what about using one of the mckenzie tuff deers? i am looking into buying one of them.

I used Steelforce for a while, but, i ended up going back to Muzzy 3 blade 100. The steelforce was very shot, but i had trouble getting them to fly straight like my muzzys and the muzzys were much more durable. If your wanting a cut up front type broadhead try Zwickeys. Those are bad @$$ heads. I still like muzzys the best though.
