cock vane placement question

I am shooting a mathews drenalin with a quicktune dropaway rest on it does anyone see a problem with me shooting cock vane down with this set up, I was shooting with cock vane up but notice that i had a clearance issue with my vanes hitting the arrow holder - not the rest itself . since i have been shooting cock vane down i have not had any clearance issues and am shooting alot more accurate , im just wanting some feedback from you all to see what you think and to make sure i m not doing something totally unheard of thanks

Reads to me like you noticed a clearance issue, rotated your arrow appropriately, no longer have clearance issues and shooting better. Reads to me like you did the correct thing.

It does'nt matter with a drop away which way your cock vane is pointed as long as you are getting total vane clearence.
