Default string loop???

How important is it to have string loop for your release? I have allways shot fingers before but i got a new Black Ice this year and am shooting a release, i am just figuring out how i should set it up...Thanks for the help

Its not a necessity, however, if you are shooting off your string, your serving will wear much much faster. Also, you won't be drawing from directly behind your arrow. So a string loop makes a lot of sense. For the astronomical price tag they have (some as high as $2 per, and they only last like 3 years if you don't shoot THAT much), its not a bad investment

As mentioned, you certainly don't have to have a string loop but they are soooo much more forgiving to shoot and easier on your serving and your release jaws. It's the only way to go in my opinion. Good luck and good shootin'
