Settled on my hunting arrows and broad head combo.

Beaman ICS Hunters 28", 4 Dura Vane Predators and the Muzzy Phantom 200gr for a total arrow weight of 455gr with a FOC of 24.8%

Have the arrows already to go just waiting for the Phantoms to arrive

I do have to turn the bow down 3lbs so the arrow spines correctly but even then it is still going to pack a lot of punch.

I thought I remember that you were shooting the AC superslims? Why did you change?

Just curious but what is the reason for the higher FOC?

I could not get the FOC high enough with the Super Slims and when I did get the FOC high the spine was too weak, nothing against them they are a great arrow.

Better flight and penetration

OK, enlighten me then Aussie.

I have always read and abided by the 10-12% FOC range. What exactly would be the difference between that and the almost 25% you have achieved?

Thanks

I think Dr Ashby can better explain it as he has done extensive tests you can read his reports here. But be warned you will need a lot of time to go through all the reports

No I was gonna do it at the shop but Jake's new bow came in so I was helping him set that up and getting his arrows right.

Besides that you'll only screw it up again[8D]
